Eastman Kodak Company today honored two of its key Rochester contractors for their outstanding health, safety and environmental performance while working on Kodak Rochester sites last year. At a luncheon held today, the 2004 Contractor Health, Safety
(I-Newswire) May 21, 2005 – The Contractor HSE Excellence Award criteria were modified in 2004 to include the evaluation of health, safety and environmental behaviors. Kodak employees and others provided continuous feedback that Chmielowiec Painting and Crosby-Brownlie, Inc. consistently demonstrated “outstanding” health, safety & environmental behaviors while working on various projects on Kodak Rochester sites.
The awardees are involved in building construction, maintenance and renovation projects throughout Kodak Rochester sites. Kodak routinely works with an estimated 200 contractors to operate its facilities and this number continues to grow.
In addition to the awards presented today, Kodak recognized the following companies with Contractor HSE Achievement Awards, which are reserved for those companies having no OSHA incidents while working on Kodak Rochester sites in 2004: Hewitt Young Electric, of Rochester, LeChase Construction Services, of Rochester, LMC Roberson LLC, of Avon, NorthEastern Insulation, of Macedon, Paradigm Environmental, of Rochester, and RW Dake & Co., Inc., of East Rochester.
In presenting these awards, Mary Burkhardt, Worldwide Operations Manager, and Vice President, noted: “I am proud of your HSE performance.
